Press release
Coinbase today announced the launch of its 2026 Cryptocurrency Market Intelligence Program, a nationwide research effort to understand how Americans engage with digital assets. With a $25 million budget and 50,000 $500 BTC rewards, the program aims to capture insights from the broadest cross-section of crypto investors ever assembled — including Coinbase users, customers of competing platforms, and those who have never purchased crypto before.
The survey covers crypto experience, portfolio composition, trading frequency, security practices, and platform preferences. Results will guide Coinbase product development, competitive analysis, and public education initiatives. Coinbase may contact participants by email, phone, or text if account-holder verification is needed. The program is open to U.S. residents aged 18 and over and is limited to the first 50,000 qualified respondents. Coinbase is committed to protecting participant privacy and handling all data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
